This is an oil on canvas painting. In the foreground Lot and his two daughters, one facing the viewer on her father's lap pouring wine and the other partially turned away from the viewer. Two putto play behind the latter daughter: one is masked symbolizing deception, and the other is unmasked, symbolizing truth. The central background of the painting Lot and his daughters are shown fleeing Sodom, which is being consumed, along with Gomorrah, in a hail of fire and brimstone. Lot's wife turned back to look at Sodom and turned into a pillar of salt.

This is an oil and tempera on panel painting. Christ is seated in the center of the scene with the Virgin Mary to the left and St. John the Baptist to the right. Centrally located on the panel is Christ. He is seated on a rainbow, wearing a red robe, the folds of which appear so stiff, they look more carved from stone than fabric. His right hand points with two fingers, his left appears to be outstretched in a wave. He wears a decorative halo, and beneath his feet is an orb on which is painted a landscape scene with trees and flowing water. Out of the right side of his mouth comes a stalk of lilies, the left, a double edged sword. There a two angels with trumpets aiming downward announcing the last judgment. The judgement scene is divided into two halves. On the right the Virgin Mary, draped in a green robe, kneels praying. She also wears a decorated halo. She is floating on layers of white clouds above the saints being welcomed into heaven. The saints are ushered in by an angel with green wings, they themselves are naked and pale as marble. There is one who still wears his Emperor's crown, and a Pope who still has on his three tiered papal crown. On the other side, John the Baptist floats before Christ on dark clouds. He is draped in light green and also has a decorated halo. Beneath him are the tormented souls being dragged to eternal damnation. Their skin tone is painted darker, than the pale saints, as if there was actually blood flowing through their veins. The demons dragging them away have odd anatomical arrangements. At the bottom center one of the demons even gives the viewer a toothy grin. Center of the panel are people coming out of squares in the ground, to represent the dead rising for judgement. The top portion of this painting is covered by an elaborate frame, wood carved in ornate arabesques, making the viewing portal in the shape of a Gothic arch.

This is on oil on canvas painting. The viewer is given a slightly omniscient view of this scene, similar to actors on a stage. The characters are numerous and nearly without distinction. The heads are done isocephaly, with figure size as the only indication of background and foreground. The panels of the doors in the background are also unsymmetrical. Thomas Jefferson, having red hair and a dark blue suit with a red vest, is identified for the viewer as important: he is in the front of the stage and is the only one wearing red. Benjamin Franklin is on his left. The others move as the group to the front to sign the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.

This is an oil on canvas painting. The figures are arranged in a pyramid shape in the foreground, reminiscent of Renaissance Madonna and child groupings. Both the Mother and older daughter gaze at the baby. The baby looks at the older sister, or perhaps at the carnation she holds. The viewer is standing slightly above the seated figures. The background shows a path that leads into some trees, but only the bottoms of the trees are visible. The mother wears a violet dress with a wide lace collar; her two hands firmly hold the baby.

This oil on canvas painting is irregulary-shaped and combines still-life objects with a woman's foot with painted toenails. The foot lines the bottom edge of the canvas, the ball of the foot resting on a round, yellow pillow. An orange, a rose, a portrait of a lover (self-portrait of Wesselmann) is in the background. The contour of the canvas is shaped to fit the objects depicted.

This oil on canvas painting was inspired by the Old Testament wherein Ezekiel foretells God's destruction of Gog, the infidel prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. In the painting, Ezekiel, standing on the lower left promontory, calls forth at God's command predatory birds and wild beasts to devour Gog's troops. The troops fill the valley; the birds sweep down from the sky and the wild beasts, seen in the foreground, approach the troops.

This painting, painted with tempera on board, underscores much of the political and social issues of the day. There are illustrations from the left to the right of a woman driving a car, a locomotive, industrialization, wage strikers and the gunmen firing at them dominate the scene. The bright red, green, and yellow colors, paired with the suggestion of movement, infuses the painting with energy.

This is an oil on canvas painting showing a woman in a white gown, embroidered in gold, trimmed with pearls, lace, pink silk and a pink silk sash, holding a miniature of a man in a jeweled frame with a black picot ribbon. The figure is seated and shown in three quarters length, the head almost full-faced, hair is natural graying blond. The nosegay of star-shaped flowers on her bodice may be a tremblant. The background has a curving high stone wall with two urns, green foliage of a tree above the wall and two small weeping willows by the water at the left end of wall.

This is an oil on canvas depicting Samson, on the right of the canvas, handing his parents a block of honey. The canvas is divided vertically into two halves. The left side shows Samson's parents standing in front of a brown stone building. They are seen from the waist up in seventeenth century costume. On the right side is Samson, almost silhouetted as his face is in the shadows and behind him is a light blue sky with clouds. There is specific light on the parents' faces, but Samson is deliberately eclipsed. He has brown wavy shoulder length hair. All three figures are focused on the honeycomb in Samson's right hand as he places in his father's hands. Less noticeable is the honeycomb still remaining in Samson's left hand; the central focus is left foreground, which shows three hands and a honeycomb.

This is an oil on canvas painting which may depict the garden of Chases's Villa Silli, Florence, Italy, in the summer of 1909. The viewer is placed on the central path in the garden. The lightness of the color and pale mauve shadows directly underneath indicate it is around noon. On the right and left of the viewer are blurred beds of color representing a myriad of flowers. The architecture of the middle ground is closely surrounded by trees and shrubs, except for a low fountain gurgling in front of an iron wrought gate. The background of this peaceful scene has cumulus clouds peaking from behind tall trees (some appear to be the traditional poplars) against a light blue sky.

This is a bronze statue blending Greek mythology and local geography into a tribute to a man named Spencer Trask. He was a wealthy man who did much to benefit the town of Saratoga Springs in New York. The statue is of the Greek goddess of health, Hygeia. She is standing tall, draped with swirling cloth, fitted with wings and standing on a rock, out of which a spring is flowing (Saratoga Springs). Her arms are raised, the left hand holds the bowl of life-giving water and the right a twig from a pine that grows in Saratoga Springs.
